Very nicely explained. It’s only wished that these peaceful messages could be read and understood by people running towards the ISIS to wage the holy war against the infidels/non-Muslims.

The only thing I disagree with is that not all religions are the same. Some religions actually promote violence, whatever is the reason, in whatever form, and some religions don’t. Unless we accept this, we will go on running in circles, without actually solving the real problem.

The need of the hour is not to prove “my religion is not violent”, the need of the hour is to understand what are the inherent problems and why a particular religion motivates so many fanatics. Once we understand this, once we call a spade a spade, we will start working towards a workable (not necessarily lasting) solution.

I don’t care much about being politically correct. Things are just right or wrong and yes, sometimes there are grey areas in this is why we write, don’t we?
