Not being able to work on a book was one of the reasons why I switched to OneNote from Evernote. Evernote is very rigid about how it arranges notes and this can be troublesome when you are working on a book. There are many features in Evernote — basic features — that haven’t been changed for many years for whatever reasons. Forcing Evernote to let you write a book would be like forcing Windows notepad to let you write a book using it. If you are hellbent upon using something, you can definitely use it. The main problem with Evernote is you always have to figure things out in order to achieve even basic tasks like scheduling.

Here is thelink where I have compared both Evernote and OneNote and why I switched to OneNote:

If you want to use a notetaking app for writing a book I think OneNote is better equipped because of the way it organizes notes and notebooks.

I don’t care much about being politically correct. Things are just right or wrong and yes, sometimes there are grey areas in this is why we write, don’t we?
